We’ve got some pretty incredible news in this week’s Vegans Baby Bite!
In case you missed the announcement last week, Vegans, Baby has partnered with Life is Beautiful to curate an entire vegan area at the popular three-day music/arts/food festival in Downtown Las Vegas.
The Farm Stand features a rotating lineup of chefs and restaurants serving vegan food daily from 4 – 8 p.m. Participating restaurants at The Farm Stand are CATCH Las Vegas and Chef Andrew Carroll who was a part of the Vegas Vegan Dinner at the James Beard House; Greene Street Kitchen and Chef Joe Zanelli; the pop-up Peruvian OG Lola’s; the city’s only Egyptian restaurant, POTs; Downtown Container Park’s Simply Pure and Chef Stacey Dougan; The JOLT Coffee Co. at The Center; the gourmet waffle/coffee shop TIABI; vegan cookbook author Jackie Sobon (Vegan Yack Attack); and, VegeNation and Chef Donald Lemperle.
In other news, starting this week, Violette’s Vegan Organic Cafe & Juice Bar becomes the city’s only vegan restaurant with a regular quiz night. In partnership with Vegas Pub Quiz, Violette’s now offers the chance for guest to test their smarts every Wednesday at 8 p.m. during their Quiz Nigh. Go head-to-head with others for a chance to win more than $100 in prizes.
