Eat damn good food … and help the local organization, Create A Change Now, at the same time. On Sunday, May 7, Create A Change Now and The Reset Project present the third annual joint health education event, the 555 Dinner at VegeNation. The dinner celebrates the Vegas communities working together to create sustainable change in nutrition education.
In support of chef Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution Day, the dinner highlights five Vegas chefs and their original plant-based menu items sourced from local farms.
You won’t want to miss this year’s impressive line-up: Chef Rick Moonen (RM Seafood/ RX Boiler Room), Executive Chef Mark Sandoval (UNLV), Executive Chef Donald Lemperle (VegeNation), Executive Chef Hansel Tan (Chow) and Chef Patissier Vincent Pellerin (eatt).
What feast doesn’t include some drinks? This year, Executive Director of Mixology and Spirits Education for SGWS, Francesco Lafranconi, joins the mix with vegan wines and cocktails to go with all the dishes.
The event starts with a reception at 5:30 p.m. and is followed by the five-course dinner from 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. Tickets start at $77 and all proceeds benefit Create A Change Now, a Las Vegas organization dedicated to educating and empowering children and their families by providing resources needed to tackle childhood obesity-related diseases.
