Our favorite Downtown bar, Atomic Liquors (aka our favorite bar other than LV Bar and Rebar), is now home to a restaurant, too. The Kitchen at Atomic is a sleek new spot that seems a bit too sleek against it’s neighborhood Atomic sister, but hey, we still dig it.
We’re going to be quite frank — if you’re looking for a place where you can stuff your face with vegan food in Downtown Las Vegas, this is not the spot. However, if you’re looking for a spot that’s cool, has a lot of tasty beers and a place to chill out and maybe eat a little, then, yeah, The Kitchen at Atomic works.
So, what can you eat, you ask?
Not too much.
Recently, the restaurant brought in a new chef, the stellar Justin Kinglsey Hall, and the menu which had a couple of vegan items on it, was revamped.
At the moment, there are a few appetizers and such which can be tweaked vegan on their dinner menu, and they have one brunch item and english pea hash, but that’s it. Hopefully the spot will expand their vegan options in the future.
But, we do love hanging at Atomic and when we’re hungry, there are a few little snacks to nosh without leaving the scene.
