We brought you the news in Spring 2018 about Red Rock Resort launching a more extensive vegan dining program at their restaurants. Hearthstone Kitchen Cellar is a vegan-friendly option at Red Rock Resort.
Helmed by Executive Chef Brian Massie, Hearthstone Kitchen’s refined rustic food now includes vegan options. So, grab your pup and sit on the patio (make sure to call in advance — it’s at the restaurant’s discretion whether or not you can bring fur babies) or cozy up inside the gorgeous spot for some vegan food in Las Vegas.
The menu offers a total of seven items labeled as vegan from apps to entrees. The roasted jalapeño hummus is the featured vegan appetizer, served with crispy lavash.
If you’re hungry, order up some shared plates like the watermelon salad, the herbs and green salad with crispy sunchokes or crispy brussels sprouts.
Vegan entrees at Heartstone include a zucchini ribbons pesto, the farro risotto with wild mushrooms (think more hearty and rustic than creamy), or the Impossible Burger sliders in lettuce cups.
We dig their $6 Happy Hour menu which comes complete with three vegan options served daily from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. as well as an additional Happy Hour (because we all love being happy) on Saturdays from 9 p.m. – 11 p.m.
As of now, no vegan desserts are listed on the menu but according to Russell Sexton, Hearthstone’s General Manager, a couple new items are in the works in the next month. So, get over there and tell ’em you want some sweets!
