Don’t let acclaimed chef Sheridan Su’s newest endeavor, Every Grain, location fool you — even though it’s tucked into a dated strip mall on E. Charleston, it’s serving up some of the best food in the city.
Su, who was nominated as the best chef in the west two years running by the James Beard Foundation, didn’t forget about vegans when creating the menu.
Referred to as a “rice bar”, Every Grain is a vegan-friendly restaurant in Las Vegas that is worth venturing off The Strip or outside of the confines of your neighborhood.
Las Vegas Vegan-Friendly Restaurant: Every Grain
A fast-casual restaurant, Su has set up a tiny joint offering small plates, rice and noodles.
And, we can’t get enough of it.
Vegan options at Every Grain
Three of the four small plates at Every Grain are vegan or can be made vegan — cucumbers with hibiscus and garlic in vinegar and chili oil; Chinese seasonal greens sautéed with garlic; and a pan-fried scallion pancake (request vegan and you’re in).
If you’re looking for noods, order the sesame ones. This flavorful, peanut-y bowl is made with wheat noodles and has crushed peanuts and cucumbers in it for an added crunch.
Of course, our most favorite vegan dish at Every Grain is the Every Grain Bowl. Su’s created the perfect rice dish in this one that comes with roasted broccoli, maitake mushrooms, kale, cashews, tofu and their signature Every Grain rice blend.
