Las Vegas has a number of vegan-friendly sushi burrito spots around town, but there is one that stands out when it comes to being vegan friendly — SOHO Burrito. The popular vegan-friendly Las Vegas restaurant has a total of three locations: one on Sahara, one in Southwest Las Vegas, and one on UNLV’s campus. With vegan dishes (and gluten-free options, too!) and sauces marked with a red “VG”, you shouldn’t have any issues navigating the menu.
Now, the only question you’ve got when it comes to creating your vegan meal at SOHO Burrito is bowl or burrito? And, do you want a signature or build-your-own creation?
The good news — no matter what you choose, we’re pretty sure you’re going to dig it.
The Signature vegan options at SOHO Burrito are the Tofu Lover, packed with tofu, lettuce, cucumber, avocado, roasted corn, green onion and mixed greens in a mango soy; the Veggie Lover with lettuce, baby spinach, cucumber, pico de gallo, avocado, seaweed salad and chipotle mayo; or the Vegan Love filled with Gardein asada, lettuce, cabbage, bell pepper, cilantro, pico de gallo, avocado, red onion and chipotle mayo. Wrap these bad boys up in your choice of seaweed paper, soy paper or a flour tortilla.
The vegan bowls at SOHO Burrito include the Tofu Garden Bowl (just swap the sauce because of the honey), Quinoa Bowl, Tofu Poke Bowl and the Vegan Lover Bowl (which is basically the same as the wrap … but in a bowl).
To build-your-own vegan creation at SOHO Burrito, choose from soy or seaweed paper, or flour or wheat tortilla, add in a choice of rice (sushi, brown or white), protein (tofu or Gardein asada), then load in the extras like jalapeño, guac, seaweed salad and other veggies, and sauces like mango soy, ponzu, sweet chili, vegan chipotle mayo or wasabi aioli.
If you’re looking to add a few vegan sides to your meal at SOHO Burrito, the edamame, seaweed salad, mushroom soup, and cucumber salad are all vegan-friendly. Stay clear of the miso soup, this recipe contains fish broth.
And the boba tea? All dairy-free! Choose from flavors like Thai tea, matcha, taro, mango, and more.
