Nacho Daddy

Diana Edelman

With four locations in town, the Las Vegas-based Nacho Daddy is vegan-friendly and offers an American grill with a Mexican flair.

Voted the “Best of Las Vegas,” the restaurant has done well in tapping into the vegan demand.

Las Vegas Vegan-Friendly Restaurant: Nacho Daddy

Offering house-made tortilla chips, plus a full vegan menu, it’s become a popular spot for vegan-friendly dining in Las Vegas. It’s also one of the best spots to get vegan Mexican food in Las Vegas.

Vegan appetizers

First, let’s talk about the appetizers. Specifically the nachos and queso. If you’ve ever had the non-vegan variety, this creation by Chef Eric Scott will raise your eyebrows because it’s that. good.

Seriously.

You know what else will fool your taste buds? Everything.

But, back to the appetizers.

Please, please, please do yourselves a favor and try the vegan quesadillas. These gorgeous, flaky flour tortillas sandwich homemade vegan queso, vegan sour cream, pico, and come with a side of guac.

So, if you’re keeping count, so far you’ve got two apps you must order.

Then, there are the nachos. These bad boys feature spinach corn chips, and are topped with tofu, vegan cheese, black beans, red and green bell peppers, mushrooms, fire-roasted corn, pico de gallo and avocado-lime salsalita.

For a healthier side of vegan eats, Nacho Daddy has a fajita salad with marinated romaine hearts tossed in an onion thyme vinaigrette and topped with marinated vegan chik’n, fajita pepper and onions, all served inside a crispy tortilla.

Want something even healthier? The kale salad is the answer. This plate of veggie goodness includes kale, carrots, cucumber, corn, grape tomatoes, mushrooms, and more … all tossed in an agave citrus vinaigrette.

Vegan entrees at Nacho Daddy

For an entree, order up the vegan burrito packed with wild rice, vegan cheese, heaps of mushrooms and topped with the salsalita and pico.

But, our all time favorite item on this menu (and trust us, we’re only mentioning our favorites, the menu is pretty impressive) are the Chick’n Tacos.

These are filled with marinated vegan chick’n, veggies, and more, and come with a side of wild rice and black beans. However, it’s the housemade signature flour tortillas which really steal our little vegan hearts.

Bonus: try the jalapeño margarita. You’re welcome.
