Fresh. Flavorful. Veg dishes which can be made vegan … and a new vegan menu coming soon. Say hello to Frank and Fina’s Cocina, serving up some of the best vegan Mexican food in Las Vegas.
This delicious Mexican restaurant located off of 215 and Flamingo has been in business for more than two decades. Family owned and operated (Fina is in the kitchen whipping up all the tasty eats), they’ve always had vegetarian options, but now have been creating vegan options, too, like organic soy chorizo tossed and cashew sauces, to name a few.
With a rotating veg special and a vegetarian menu that largely can be tweaked to be gorgeously vegan, you won’t want to miss this restaurant. We dig that they opt for rice and beans flavored with seasoning and garlic … and nothing else. As well as their varied dishes that bring to life traditional food from the Yucatan region of Mexico, where they are from.
The region happens to be rich with flavors and specialties, like a black-eyed-pea tamale you can get at the restaurant (and you must get it) which is wrapped in banana leaves (Yucatan-style) versus the more recognized corn husk.
