Vegan Pepperoni by NoButcher
Make this flavorful vegan pepperoni from NoButcher at your home!
Ingredients
Wet Ingredients
- 1 1/3 c water
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 oz. tomato paste
- 1 1/2 tbsp paprika
- 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tsp organic sugar
- 2 tsp whole fennel seeds
- 2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tsp ground mustard
- 1 tsp liquid smoke
- 3 cloves garlic minced
Dry Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups vital wheat gluten
- 3 tbsp onion powder
- 3 tbsp minced onion
- 1 tsp coarse black pepper
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tsp whole fennel seeds
Instructions
Combine all wet ingredients in blender except fresh minced garlic.
In a bowl, combine dry ingredients and fresh minced garlic. Add wet ingredients into bowl, mixing until combined.
Mold into long roll and then wrap in aluminium foil, wrapping the ends.
Heat oven to 340 degrees and then cook for 70 minutes.
Unwrap, slice and serve.
