National Pizza Day is Feb. 9 and seeing as pizza is our favorite food group, we’ve rounded up our favorite vegan pizzas in Las Vegas. From Downtown Las Vegas to vegan pizza near the airport, we’ve compiled our top picks for noshing on vegan pizza. Rest assured — the vegan pizza scene in Las Vegas is thriving thanks to some passionate pizzaiolos raising the bar.
The Good Vegan Detroit Pizza
There’s a reason Good Pie (located on Las Vegas Blvd. in Pawn Plaza) was named Best Pizza in the Las Vegas Vegan Food Guide — it’s that good. Our favorite is the Detroit pizza — a thick crusted pie topped smothered with a cheesy blend of Follow Your Heart and Good PLANet cheese. As of spring 2019, Good Pie has put on hold the Detroit and gluten-free vegan pizzas. Expect them to make a return when Good Pie moves to its new location fall 2019. For now, dream of this goodness.
New York Vegan Pizza
This New York-style pizza is a keeper at Pop Up Pizza. Topped with Daiya shreds (they’re good, swear!) and veggies, these slices are big and delicious. Gluten-free available with 24 hours notice
Miyoko’s Topped Vegan Pizza
New vegan pizza kid on the block, IDK, offers a vegan pizza topped with Miyokos — the only place in town to use this popular cheese. Or, be a rebel and order the pizza fries instead. Gluten-free available
The Bee’s Knees Vegan Pizza
Two of Naked City Pizza’s locations offer vegan options — PT’s Pub on Eastern Ave. and the NCP on Paradise Rd. While we love all four of their offerings, the standout is the Bee’s Knees, a white pizza topped with roasted garlic sauce, vegan mozzarella, spinach, shaved fennel, mushrooms and finished with fennel pollen, shaved radish and fennel tops. Gluten-free available
Special Vegan Pizza
Downtown’s Evel Pie features vegan pizza by the slice and entire pie. Head here for pizza, stick around for their vegan meatballs, too. They also make special vegan pies, like ones topped with mushrooms, walnuts and more. Gluten-free available
Pizza Company’s Vegan Pizza
Pizza Company was one of the first vegan-friendly pizza shops in Las Vegas. Here, you can order up vegan pizza with three veggies, but save room for their garlic knots complete with housemade vegan ranch that’s dreamy. Dreamy.
Mac and Cheese Vegan Pizza
If you’re looking for a different take on pizza, hit up VegeNation for their mac and cheese pizza topped with (you guessed it) mac and cheese, chipotle ranch and sprinkled with Blazin’ Doritos. Gluten-free available
And even more …
Other vegan-friendly pizza spots in town include Flour & Barley, My Pie, Pieology, Blaze Pizza, Metro Pizza and OMG Pizza and More. You can also order Domino’s (no cheese) thin crust, Papa John’s (no cheese), Pizza Hut (no deep dish, no cheese).
