Since 1998, Stephano’s has been serving up some of the freshest Mediterranean and Greek food in the Valley. Locally owned and operated for more than 20 years, they now have three locations around Las Vegas to help satisfy your cravings for a fast and healthy vegan meal.
Stephano’s has a great selection of appetizers (including gluten-free options) to choose from. So, whether you’re in the mood to share a few, or you just make a meal out of dips, salads, and sides, they’ve got you covered.
Try their house-made hummus or baba ghanoush, each served with locally baked Vegas Pita bread. Their Israeli salad or tabbouleh, are also made fresh in-house daily, and don’t forget to round out your small-plates feast with an order of sarma, their tomato rice stuffed grape leaves.
For their wraps, bowls, and plates, vegan have two main options: falafel or grilled veggie kebab. The grilled veggies are made with the freshest zucchini, mushrooms, tomatoes and onions, cut, seasoned, and skewered daily, and then grilled to order.
A special note needs to be made about the falafels at Stephano’s, however: out of all of the falafels you can get in this city, theirs are by far the lightest, “fluffiest”, and crispiest around. Not all falafel are created equally, and Stephano’s definitely knows why they’re doing.
If you’re in the mood for a wrap, choose falafel or veggie kebab, and then ask them to sub in tahini sauce or hummus for the tzatziki that is normally served inside. Fries are served a la carte, and can be ordered “loaded” with fresh tabbouleh, hummus, tomatoes, and onions.
Vegan rice bowls feature their incredible mujaddara, or lentil rice, topped with falafel or veggie kebab, and Israeli salad with warm wheat or white pita on the side.
Plates are perfect for those with a larger appetite, or for those looking for a larger dish to share. Like the bowls, they come loaded with a generous serving of lentil rice, topped with falafel or kebab, along with a side of hummus, Israeli salad, and warm pita.
Stephano’s also caters, so any of the items mentioned can also be ordered for a larger crowd.
So whether you order a few small bites for yourself, or you’re serving a group, make sure to also try out their complimentary homemade pickled jalapeños, and pickled turnips. Oh, and don’t forget to ask for a side of their life-changing garlic sauce to slather on everything.
