Forget those nasty April showers that delivered hail on the first Vegas VegFest. The Vegas VegFest returns for its second year on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., and if the weather this month is any indication, we will be blessedly hail-free.
Taking place at the Clark County Government Center (500 S. Grand Central Parkway), this year’s event (put on by Compassion Works International and a core of dedicated volunteers, and GFY Burgers) features some newer faces to the vegan dining scene including Platinum Sponsor eatt (oh, how we love their gorgeous vegan dishes) … and a vegan beer tent.
Get ready to stuff your face with all the vegan food from some of our favorites in town like Simply Pure, Purple Potato, Panevino, Pancho’s Kitchen, Vegan Meals by Mindy, Heavenly Vegan and out-of-towners/special appearances by Southern Fried Vegan and more.
Plus, there’s a lineup of vegan celebs talking about all things vegan, including our friend Austin Aries (don’t miss an intimate meet-and-greet with him on Sept. 27 at Eclipse Theaters), vegan health and fitness experts, Executive Director of The Gentle Barn’s Ellie Lacks, and even some vegan entertainment by The Amazing Steve and Maria (we love them!). For the complete lineup of speakers and vendors, check out the Vegas VegFest homepage.
The best part? This event is for everyone – vegan or omnivore. It’s a chance to eat some tasty vegan food, check out some cool businesses in town, meet people and learn more about the vegan lifestyle in a fun and educational environment.
Entry is free with a suggested donation of $3. Food is priced per vendor.
Vegans, Baby is a proud media sponsor of this event. We will see you there!
