On May 15, 2022 Vegans, Baby turns six years old! I truly can’t believe it! It seems like just yesterday I celebrated our launch at VegeNation. Time flies!
It’s been a magical six years of working to show people how amazing vegan food can be, and where to find it in Las Vegas, New York City and around the world.
Over the last six years, Vegans, Baby has encouraged and incentivized hundreds of restaurants to add vegan options to their menus. It’s operated two of the top vegan tours in the world — the Las Vegas food tour named one of the top nine by Travel + Leisure, and South Africa, named one of the top by Newsweek and Fodor’s.
In addition, Vegans, Baby created and operates one of the biggest restaurant dining months in the country — Vegan Dining Month — in Las Vegas and Portland, Ore. (with more to come!). 2022 marked its fifth year celebrating vegan food at restaurants and showing restaurants the value of adding more options to their menu while also encouraging chefs to get creative with plants.
Vegans, Baby has curated The Farm Stand at Life is Beautiful, which features local chefs serving vegan eats at the three-day festival. And, one of the accomplishments for which I’m most proud, Vegans, Baby was tapped to curate plant-based dinners at the famous James Beard House in NYC. It brings together Las Vegas chefs who bring to life some of the best vegan food in the city, preparing special dinners there.
It’s led to the annual Las Vegas Vegan Dining Guide, as well as giving me an opportunity to speak on panels and keynotes around the country.
Vegans, Baby as hosted tons of events, curated local, national and international tours and there’s so much more to come.
But, Vegans, Baby would be nothing — nothing — without you. I am forever grateful for the support of my work over the years and know it’s because of you that I’ve been able to achieve these milestones.
