The Roasts
Take your pick of vegan holiday roasts this year. There are four, yes, four different frozen roasts. Choose from Field Roast’s hazelnut cranberry roast, Tofurky’s ham style roast, or Gardein’s stuffed turk’y. Your fourth option is Tofurky’s Plant Based Holiday Feast, a dinner for six that includes a roast with stuffing, gravy bowl, plus a dairy-free cheesecake.
The Sides
Right next to the roasts, there’s Tofurky’s savory gravy. The gravy comes in a tub, ready to heat. You don’t have to add a thing.
Most cranberry sauces aren’t vegan thanks to gelatin, so grab a bag of frozen cranberries to whip up a batch of homemade cranberry sauce.
Fresh produce is a must! Grab potatoes for mashing, yams for roasting, greens, carrots, herbs, and more. A good roasted vegetable dish or salad that just happens to be vegan is something everyone can enjoy.
No need to skip the marshmallows on the sweet potato bake this year. Dandies makes vegan marshmallows like these minis that are perfect for the holidays. Sprouts also carries their own vegan marshmallows, often found in the bulk section of the store.
And the most important ingredient for green bean casserole? The crispy, french fried onions of course! Sprouts has it in original, gluten free, and an organic gluten free options.
Sprouts cornbread stuffing is vegan as packaged. All you have to do is make sure you add your preferred vegetable broth and plant-based butter to keep the recipe vegan-friendly.
The Dessert
Stroll by the open freezer section for dessert. Wholly Wholesome offers two vegan frozen pie options. While the traditional pumpkin pie is not vegan, both the apple pie and the cherry pie are.
If you have time to whip up your own pie, grab a couple cans of organic pumpkin. Sprouts has made it convenient by placing pumpkin pie spice in eye sight, just in case you’re out.
Don’t forget to pick up dairy-free whip to top off that pie! The So Delicious brand makes a very tasty coconut whip as well as a light version. Truwhip also has a vegan option in a tub that rivals the popular Cool Whip (not vegan). We’re pretty sure your guests won’t know the difference.
Or, skip the pie altogether and pick up a box of Miss Jones Mini Pumpkin Donuts. You’ll need to add a few ingredients before baking (flax egg, non-dairy milk, and vegan butter), but the box includes a vegan option in the directions.
Don’t forget to follow ShopVeganLV on Instagram for more vegan-friendly options throughout the holidays.
