There's a new spot in town for healthy eats. Swing by Grabbagreen and check out their vegan options. For more vegan-friendly restaurants in Las Vegas, visit www.vegansbaby.com/vegansbaby2018

Healthy and quick service can go together — just look at Grabbagreen if you need proof. Grabbagreen is a vegan-friendly restaurant in Las Vegas and one we love.

Sure, we love our vegan tacos, Beyond Burgers, and carbs galore, but sometimes quick, healthy, and delicious is more our speed

Grabbagreen, which opened in Village Square mid 2018, is the spot for people who want to eat clean, non-GMO meals in (nearly) an instant. From fresh juices, smoothies, and cold brews to bowls and wraps, add Grabbagreen to your list of healthy vegan options in Las Vegas.

Feeling the need for a little midday boost? Check out their Elixir Shots such as Anti-inflammatory, Defend, Guts or Slim. Need to hit the reset button all together? Choose from a 1, 2, or 3 day Detox Plan.

The Fresh Pressed Juices are all vegan-friendly — we went with the Detox Juice packed with beet, celery, cucumber, lemon and parsley. Grabbagreen also serves smoothies, some of which are vegan-friendly thanks to offering pea protein instead of whey, and others like the Oxidation Elimination. Made with acai, agave, banana, blackberry, blueberry, spinach, strawberry, and green tea., there’s no protein powder in this creation.

If you are looking for the perfect breakfast item, try the Mango Bowl. Composed of sliced banana, brown rice, chia seeds, coconut shreds, mango, pineapple, quinoa, almond milk and granola, this tropical bowl is both filling and satisfying. Unless you’re a big breakfast eater, plan on having enough leftover for a snack.

Sometimes the best vegan options in Las Vegas are ones you can create yourself.

At Grabbagreen, the “Grab Your Own” option lets guests mix and match all the goodies for a bowl or wrap to create their own healthy vegan option in Las Vegas.

Start with a base of grain or green, add your vegan protein (tofu, edamame or black beans), mix in five nutrients, herbs and then top it all off with a vegan sauce option. There are seven vegan sauces on the menu (and in true form, we tried them all).

It was a hard decision, but we chose the Chimichurri Sauce for our Tex-Mex-inspired bowl with quinoa noodles (gluten-free) and the sesame sauce for the Asian-inspired wrap.

In 2019, Grabbagreen added meal plans to their offerings. To take advantage of this service, simply download the Grabbegreen app and choose the Las Vegas location, then select “meal plans” (or visit the shop and have a consultation) and start customizing your eats.

**Side Note – Although the Mango Bowl is the only bowl listed as vegan, we spoke with the owner, Sam, about vegan-friendly options that aren’t necessarily listed as such. All bowls/wraps can easily be made vegan on request. The chili may also be made vegan by omitting the barbecue sauce.**

Kathryn Hartwig is a senior writer for Vegans, Baby. She decided to go vegan nearly a decade ago while searching for the perfect diet to compliment her role as a professional dancer. After experimenting with multitudes of fads, she Kat found a lifestyle that turned out to be more than a diet. She settled in Vegas with her husband/photographer Daniel, and puppy, Layla, after traveling the world on cruise ships and living in New York City. The family recently welcomed the birth of their first child, a true vegan baby.
