If you’re looking for a healthy(-er) lunch that is quick and also has options for non-vegan people (hey, we’re not at world domination … yet), welcome to our new go-to spot, ZiKiZ.
Located in the Southwest near Mountain’s Edge, ZiKiZ dishes up Mediterranean eats with a staff that is knowledgeable about what food is and is not vegan. Spoiler: you can have the brown rice bowls and salads.
What we love about this spot is its assembly-line preparation of the meals and the ability to load your order up with all the fresh veggies. Our pick is the brown rice bowl with falafel and then adding in every single veggie (banana pepper, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, jalapeños, chick peas, tabouli, olives and pickles. Then, for extra measure, we get a whopping dollop of hummus.
ZiKiZ also has salads, gyros and sides like sweet potato fries, regular fries, tabouli and more.

Zikiz does have vegan options, but the falafel is fried in the same fryer as the chicken….
