Restaurants Embrace Veganuary in Las Vegas

  • November 20, 2017
  • Blog, Vegan News

January is all about resolutions. For many, this means a change in lifestyle, diet resolutions and lasting changes. Hopefully! To celebrate the New Year, we are proud to announce Veganuary Las Vegas, a citywide vegan dining event from January 1 – 31.

In keeping with the mission of Vegans, Baby — to make being vegan in Las Vegas more accessible — we’ve curated partnerships with some of our favorite restaurants in Las Vegas with vegan offerings to bring you dynamic, delicious and diverse dining options across the Valley for the entire month.

Even better? Every dish ordered that is a part of Veganuary will help out the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, as well as help Veganuary continue their efforts to promote veganism around the world.

The monthlong celebration of vegan dining isn’t just for vegans, it’s for anyone who is participating in the vegan monthlong challenge put on by Veganuary, and even those who aren’t; we want to showcase Las Vegas’ movement towards the upper echelons in the vegan dining scene in the US, as well as show other restaurants in town there is a demand for vegan dishes — and a big one.

We are really proud of you Vegans, Baby! We were very excited to hear in the Vegans, Baby newsletter that “Veganuary Las Vegas netted more than $55,000 in meals sold and more than $5,000 was donated to the NSPCA and Veganuary”. That is so great.

We very much enjoyed visiting Las Vegas for Veganuary this year. We specifically travelled to Las Vegas for Veganuary event and to check out all the excellent vegan food as part of Veganuary. We especially enjoyed the Veganuary deals at Hussong’s Mexican Cantina but all the food we had was fantastic. We had no idea that Las Vegas had so much to offer in terms of vegan food until Vegans, Baby put on this event.

Once we heard about the event we knew we had to go to Las Vegas to check it out. We couldn’t have been happier with our trip to Las Vegas. It’s such a fun city and it was great to not have to worry about having problems finding vegan food. Thanks again Vegans, Baby and thanks to all the restaurants that took part as well.
