If you’ve been unsure about what’s vegan at Yard House, we get it. We avoided Yard House for years. Every time we went, we would get conflicting info on what was/not vegan, and the staff were never quite sure, so rather than risk it, we skipped it.
With that in mind, we’ve created this guide to everything that’s vegan at Yard House. Whether you’re in Las Vegas looking for vegan options, or across the country, this guide can help you.
Let’s start here: not all Gardein dishes are vegan at Yard House
Yard House has an entire Gardein section on their menu. However, most of the actual dishes on the Gardein menu are not vegan, despite the fact that Gardein itself is vegan.
What’s vegan at Yard House?
Here’s what’s vegan at Yard House and what you can make vegan. It’s important to note that anything that is fried is done so in a shared fryer. So, if cross-contamination is important to you, Yard House does not have many options. We’ve marked a * for all items cooked in a shared fryer.
Vegan appetizers
First, let’s review the vegan appetizers.
You can order the chips and guacamole*, sweet potato fries* and both the steamed and hot and spicy edamame.
Next, when it comes to the Gardein wings*, the whiskey black pepper and lemon pepper are vegan.
However, you can modify the following appetizers and make them vegan:
- truffle fries* — hold the cheese
- avocado toast — hold the cheese
- house salad — hold the cheese and croutons
- jumbo Bavarian pretzel — hold the cheese sauce
- Gardein buffalo wings* — hold the ranch
- Gardein BBQ wings* — hold the ranch
Vegan main courses
Now, for the main course you have two vegan options at Yard House.
First, there is the Gardein orange chicken*. Second, you can get the Beyond Burger with a salad. The gluten-free bun is not vegan.
Additionally, you can modify these main courses to make them vegan:
- Gardein BBQ chicken salad* — hold the cheese, chipotle ranch dressing
- Gardein chicken and avocado sandwich — hold the mayo and cheese
Vegan sides
Finally, there are the vegan sides at Yard House. You can order the jasmine rice, spicy rice or french fries* and know they’re vegan. The pinto beans can be made vegan by holding the cheese.
