Meatless Mondays just got kicked up a notch in San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles thanks to the launch of a special, limited-time promotion at all of Love Serve Remember Group’s Café Gratitude, Gracias Madre and Gratitude Kitchen & Bar locations.
Starting Monday, May 13 and running for the next three months, these restaurants are offering 50 percent off select menu items every Monday.
So, why is Love Serve Remember launching the promo?
According to the restaurant group, their goal is to “further encourage and educate guests on the benefits of eating a plant-based diet both for personal health and for the environment.”
The restaurants, known for their organic, fresh and locally-sourced ingredients are working to educate their diners on the benefits of eating plant-based, like the fact that if a person ate only one plant-based meal a day instead of meat, they’d save 2.5 pounds of carbon input, a whopping 133 gallons of water and 24-square-feet of land, as well as reducing their carbon footprint by more than eight pounds.
The first discounted eats are:
Café Gratitude – Committed Pulled Mushrooms Sandwich, Smokin’ Chili Bowl
Gratitude Kitchen & Bar – Enthusiastic Fried Chicken Sandwich (lunch), Elevated Fried Chicken Plate (dinner)
Gracias Madre – Crab Torta (lunch), Mushroom Fajitas (dinner)
The Meatless Monday promo will switch out eat each location frequently. To enjoy these 50 percent off items, sign up for their Gratification Program at any of the restaurants, free of charge. Check back on the restaurant’s respective websites for the specials.
