There may not be a specific vegan menu at Pin Kaow … or even distinction between what meals are vegan (the owners should check this out), but there are, in fact, vegan dishes at this popular Thai restaurant.
We know our Thai food, and this restaurant has got it down. We love their Thai staff (and even brush up on our own rusty Thai).
Regularly recognized as the best Thai restaurant in Vegas in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the three locations spread strategically around town (let’s face it, no one wants to drive across town to get their Thai fix), there are a wide-variety of options which are, or can be made, vegan.
Start with some edamame or green salad and then dig into the Massaman Curry (sans fish sauce, with tofu or veggies) and brown rice. Or, get carb-y with the Pad Kee Mao, AKA chili mint noodles with tofu (and they even give you a choice of having it fried). If that’s not your thing, there are also plenty of vegetable dishes you can try. Just makes sure to remind them not to put fish sauce in anything.
Don’t skip dessert. The mango sticky rice is vegan and simply divine.
