How we did not find this gem sooner is beyond us. Pasta Shop Risotrante and Art Gallery is what a neighborhood restaurant should be: family-owned, local art on the walls, and some seriously delicious food. Plus, The Pasta Shop has a massive vegan menu and is a vegan-friendly restaurant in Las Vegas.
The vegan menu at The Pasta Shop is one that puts most other omni restaurants — and definitely most other Italian restaurants — to shame.
We’re talking cold poached artichoke, a wild berry salad, Brussels sprouts … and those are just the appetizers.
Entrees include our personal favorite, the Diablo Alenik Style featuring homemade spinach papperdalle pasta in a beautiful and flavorful diablo sauce with sauteed broccoli and kale, as well as a mushroom marsala, Mediterranean rigatoni and so much more.
Start with the Live Forever Salad Alenik Style — and devour a plate of goodness filled with wild greens, brown rice, roma tomatoes, cashews and more.
Then, for your main course, check out the rigatoni primavera. This dish features handmade noodles, veggies and cashews and won’t disappoint.
If rigatoni isn’t your thing, don’t worry.
Their noodles are all house-made, fresh, gluten-free and vegan (we’re talking spinach, cracked black pepper pappardelle, linguini and more). We love that you can basically create your own pasta dish, and that they’ve got the secret vegan creations in their pockets, too — just ask.
Do you love them so much you want to take them home? No problem. You can take home fresh noodles to up your Italian cooking game in your very own kitchen.
For pizza, opt for the veggie pizza, hold the cheese.
The folks here are largely plant-based themselves, so they are knowledgeable about the vegan diet and even deliver some vegan bread brushed with olive oil instead of their typical garlic bread.
The Pasta Shop Ristorante even offers sorbets to get at that sweet tooth.
This spot is a perfect date spot, a perfect catch-up with friends spot, a perfect family spot. Check it out and you’ll see why we love it so.
