Naked City Pizza Joins Vegan Craze

It started late this summer for Naked City Pizza. Quietly, the popular pizza spot began offering four vegan pizzas at the PT’s Pub on Eastern Ave. (10940 S. Eastern Ave.), en route to Anthem.

After serving their vegan pies there for the autumn season, today marks the day that folks craving Naked City’s vegan versions of their greats no longer have to trek into the foothills to grab pizza.

Naked City Pizza now serves their vegan pizzas at the Paradise location, too. And, coming sooner than later, the vegan pizza world takeover will continue at the remaining Naked City Pizza locations in the Valley.

The launch of the vegan cheese at Naked City was sparked by the growing trend of pizzerias embracing [vegan options] and getting more creative with pizzas, says owner Chris Palmeri. “Plus, trying and playing around with several vegan products led me to believe we can put out a really great, tasty vegan option.”

For the past few months, buzz has been spreading about the four vegan pies Naked City offers (including gluten-free versions), plus tweakable eats like their garlic knots filled with vegan cheese (a must if you’re there!).

“The response so far has been overwhelmingly positive,” says Palmeri of the vegan options at the PT’s location. “People are really enjoying them.”

Currently, Naked City uses a vegan mozzarella and Beyond Meat Italian sausage but Palmeri plans to incorporate other items into the menu soon, like vegan parmesan and ricotta.

The vegan pizza options in Las Vegas continue to grow. Just last week, Metro Pizza announced most of their locations would now serve a Follow Your Heart blend and is working on more vegan options in the new year, too. Naked City Pizza plans to expand their vegan offerings starting with the Paradise location today and then adding vegan eats to El Cortez, followed by the Blue Diamond and Arville locations.
