Mother Falafel

We found your new falafel spot, Mother Falafel! For more vegan dining in Las Vegas visit www.vegansbaby.com

Craving some vegan Middle Eastern food in Las Vegas? The vegan-friendly Mother Falafel has it! Originally just a window stand on Charleston, this quick-service Middle Eastern spot now has its own storefront on Rainbow, next to Greens & Proteins (which also is packed with vegan options).

Mother Falafel’s menu features a limited amount of ingredients but delivers on flavor. We know vegans love a good falafel and this is the place to beat. With scrumptious falafel and freshly made bread (yes, we watched them make it!), this is your spot for a quick vegan bite on the west side of town.

Vegan options at Mother Falafel span the menu — so its up to you whether or not you want to order a falafel pita, wrap or hearty plate. But, with a name like Mother Falafel why would you order anything other than the falafel?

Pack your pita with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, cabbage, pickles, and hummus and add on a sauce (you can get anything from mild to way hot). We dig the green jalapeño sauce — which has a nice spicy kick to it — with a side of tahini to balance some of that oh-so-good heat.

Go ahead and round up your order with a side of fries and a drink for an extra $3. Bonus: if you’re celebrating a birthday, swing by here for a free combo meal (just make sure the birthday person has their ID!).

And, yes. Those are fries stuffed inside the falafel pita. You’re welcome.

Kathryn Hartwig is a senior writer for Vegans, Baby. She decided to go vegan nearly a decade ago while searching for the perfect diet to compliment her role as a professional dancer. After experimenting with multitudes of fads, she Kat found a lifestyle that turned out to be more than a diet. She settled in Vegas with her husband/photographer Daniel, and puppy, Layla, after traveling the world on cruise ships and living in New York City. The family recently welcomed the birth of their first child, a true vegan baby.
