After arriving to your hotel and exploring Manhattan on your own (don’t worry! We’ll give you some tips for places to go and check out!), we kick off our weekend of feasting with an exclusive, private dinner at the home of Chef Mario Buccellati, founder of Mariolino’s in New York City. Eight seats per dinner, choose Package 1 for dinner Friday, Aug. 20, or Package 2 for dinner Saturday, Aug. 21.
Head to Long Island City via subway or ride share and meet host Diana Edelman of Vegans, Baby for this intimate seven course elevated Italian feast prepared by Buccellati. The dinner includes wine pairings from the Vegan Wines collection with owner Frances Gonzalez.
With sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline, mingle and watch Chef prepare the evening’s meal or get to know others at this small, eight-person dinner.
Champagne and rosemary and sea salt focaccia with whipped cashew ricotta, pear and fennel compote. Paired with Mujer Andina Ai! Brut
1: Torched Radicchio, lemon-basil aioli, fried capers, gremolata. Paired with Luca 2018 Serravacallo Besidiae
2: Insalata di Carciofi Arrosto, roasted artichoke hearts, fennel, preserved lemon yogurt, mint, parsley, shaved parmigiano vegano. Paired with 2019 Luca Di Tomaso Scigula Rosato IGT
3: Spiedini di Fungi, oyster mushroom skewers, oregano cashew yogurt, calabrian chili oil. Paired with 2018 Eraldo Dentici Grechetto IGT Esimio
4: Pesca Pizette, grilled peaches, chard-pesto, cashew ricotta, caramelized onion, arugula insalata, aged balsamic glaze. Paired with 2015 Dante Sangiovese III IGT
5: Truffle Sweet Corn Tortelli, white wine butter sauce, black pepper, fresh nutmeg. Paired with 2016 Tirelli Andrea Druid Vino Rosso
6: Lasagna Vegana, oyster mushroom ragù, almond mozzarella and cashew ricotta, pomodoro, basil, oregano. Paired with 2019 Feudi Di Guagnano Vegamaro Negroamaro Salento IGT
7: Cannoli, sweetened cashew ricotta, chocolate, candied orange peel, crushed pistachio. Pairing coming soon!
This is an outdoor dinner on a rooftop deck on the 16th floor. Please note it can get windy. Dinner will move inside if it rains.

You’ve got the morning to grab a coffee and knish or bagel before we meet in the East Village at 11 a.m. for an exclusive Vegans, Baby Vegan Tours New York walking tour. Vegan Tours New York is the original vegan food tour in New York City.
The tour offers a mix of savory and sweet treats from some of the city’s best restaurants and shops. This tour has been created special for Vegans, Baby and has some extra treats thrown in!
Wear comfortable shoes and light clothing and get ready to pound the pavement. We’re making stops at 6 places and trying 10+ eats on this afternoon tour. Come hungry. Rain or shine.

We wrap up our foodie weekend at one of the hottest spots for veg brunch at a renowned chef Jean-Georges’ abcV restaurant. This renowned restaurant is vegetarian and features non-GMO, sustainable, artisanal and organic whenever possible. We’ll get to experience some of the best vegan eats on the menu before we head out to explore New York city on foot.
Then, the tour ends with the phenomenal NYC tour guide, Jeff Dobbins. On this two-hour walking tour, we’ll explore historic and famous architecture before we end the weekend.
