The vegan-friendly Gelatology is going to make you wish it was warm year-round. Gelatology offers made-from-scratch vegan gelato and sorbet in Las Vegas, and we’re so stoked for another option for icy, cold, sweet goodness.
Since changing owners in summer of 2019, they’ve been quietly adding and rotating delicious vegan options (and yes, some are gluten-free). While most creamery spots might have one or two offerings, Gelatology has six incredible flavors, and fun ways to customize your sweet treat.
The rotating vegan options are made with either a coconut or almond milk base. While the flavors do rotate, expect goodness like raspberry, cranberry or blueberry sorbeto and gelato in flavors such as chocolate hazelnut, ube, coconut or coffee, as well as seasonal flavors. Bonus: they mark every flavor that’s vegan, as well as nut-free and gluten-free so it’s super easy to rock up and order whatever your vegan heart needs.
Order a scoop. Or two. Or three and then top your cup with vegan-friendly toppings including cookie pieces, chopped nuts, or coconut.
If you’re in the mood for a lot of gelato, check out the Spaghetti Gelato.
Pick a flavor to be pushed through the spaghetti press to form the sweet, creamy noodles. Then, choose another flavor to create the “meatballs.” Finally, top it off with strawberry or raspberry “marinara” and coconut “parmesan.” Bring a friend to share this pretty dish. Or, keep it all to yourself. It’s so good, we don’t blame you.
For a caffeine kick to accompany your sugar rush, try the Affogato: an italian dessert that consists of a scoop of gelato drowned in a shot of hot espresso.
At the time, waffle cones aren’t vegan, but you never know what the future holds. They’re also working on an expanded coffee bar to make this place even harder to quit.
If you want to spoil the surprise when you walk in, Gelatology posts their daily flavors over on the Insta.

Kathryn Hartwig is a senior writer for Vegans, Baby. She decided to go vegan almost eight years ago while searching for the perfect diet to compliment her role as a professional dancer. After experimenting with multitudes of fads, she finally found a lifestyle that turned out to be so much more than just a diet. She settled in Vegas with her husband/photographer Daniel, and puppy, Layla, after traveling the world on cruise ships and living in New York City. The family recently welcomed the birth of their first child, a true vegan baby.
