Hello, vegan hot dogs! If you’ve been craving the vegan version of this summer favorite, you’ve found your match at Cheffini’s.
Located at the Downtown Container Park (you will know you’ve arrived by the giant, fire-breathing metal praying mantis at the entrance), Cheffini’s serves up one mighty tasty vegan hot dog.
This Vegas original first launched in 2010 by Jose “Chepe” Villamil and Fabian Arias. First a food cart, today they have their second (and brick and mortar) location here and have gained a loyal following of hot dog lovers — both meat eaters and vegan.
The goal of this joint is to create the best hot dog experience possible. And, that they do. Vegan dogs come piled with fixins that rival the non-vegan menu. Pick one of the vegan versions of the dogs, like the Classic Cheffini with onions, tomatoes, jalapeños, crushed potato chips, pineapple sauce, mustard and ketchup (and excluding the mozzarella and mayo) or create your own dog.
They’ve also got sweet potato fries, deep fried vegan hot dog bits served over french fries and topped with fry sauce, and more deliciousness to enjoy.
