CannaCake Babe

  • June 12, 2020
  • Bakery, Delivery Business, Las Vegas

Your search for decadent vegan desserts in Las Vegas ends here. CannaCake Babe is small-batch vegan bakery specializing in cannabis-infused cakes, cookies and more, delivering across Las Vegas. Don’t want vegan edibles? You’re safe. Her entire menu simply offers the options to add cannabis into the mix.

Las Vegas Vegan Bakery: CannaCake Babe

Founder Nandi Shange comes from a unique background. Before she started baking cakes, she was creating dessert-themed soaps. Dubbed the “Soap Cupcake Girl,” she upgraded to CannaCake Babe after creating life-size soap cakes for store displays including on The Strip.

“People kept suggesting that I make real cakes and sell them, so one day I baked a cake and I never looked back,” she says.

Although she wasn’t vegan at the time, her sister was, which led her to making vegan goodies. She gradually went vegan after watching documentaries and trying some of the food.

Now, Shange is one of the few all-vegan bakers in the Valley and she’s the only one offering homemade cannabis-infused desserts in Las Vegas.

With a monthly rotating menu, as well as treats you can get all the time, there are plenty of vegan baked good to enjoy.

Her regular offerings feature more than a dozen cupcakes and cake jars include lemon poppyseed, Red Velvet, cookies and cream, and chocolate peanut butter.

Plus, there’s the 24K, a lavish chocolate cupcake topped with chocolate buttercream icing, chocolate ganache drizzle, edible gold stars and a cherry dipped in glitter. A half-dozen is $18, a dozen is $35. Cake jars are $12 (8 oz.), and $18 (16 oz.)

If you’re in the mood for cookies, you’re covered.

And, there’s more.

Shange also whips up brownies, and specials like Rice Krispie Treats and oatmeal pies.
