Caked Las Vegas

Updated
Caked Las Vegas offers vegan and vegan, gluten-free cupcakes, cookies and cakes. For more vegan dining in Las Vegas, visit www.vegansbaby.com

More bakeries in Las Vegas are taking note of the growing vegan scene and adjusting to become more vegan-friendly. Caked Las Vegas, located on W. Lake Mead, is a vegan-friendly bakery in town. Whether you’re in need of a vegan wedding cake, birthday cake, a dozen cookies, or just a cupcake or two to satisfy your sweet tooth, Caked Las Vegas has your vegan cake and cookie needs covered.

Although Caked Las Vegas in not an exclusively plant-based bakery, they do have five delicious vegan flavors of cake to choose from: vanilla, marble, confetti, red velvet, and chocolate.

Gluten-free? You’re all good. Caked Las Vegas can make all of their vegan options gluten-free as well.

Helmed by Chef Ricardo Gudino, a renowned baker and Food Network Cupcake Championship contestant, Caked lets you choose from two vegan buttercream flavors to spread a top your cookies and cakes — vanilla and chocolate. But, if you want something different, the team can accommodate your cravings.

As their name implies, Caked specialize in cakes and sweet and savory cupcakes. But, their vegan cookies are not to be missed either. Choose from chocolate chip, confetti, or gluten-free lemon poppy seed.

Because the demand for vegan baked goods isn’t as high as the demand for their non-vegan options, they don’t always have every flavor available for immediate pickup. However, if you call ahead and let them know which treats you would like, they’ll be sure to have them ready for you when you arrive. Who knows, maybe one day Caked will offer even more vegan options and all the omni treats they offer will have vegan versions for us to indulge our sweet tooth.

Caked may look familiar — it used to be the spot for the popular Cupcakery.

7175 W. Lake Mead Blvd., 702-835-0061, Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Michael Monson

Michael Monson, a former teacher turned vegan YouTuber and content creator, has been living and eating in Las Vegas for over 20 years. Michael started his vegan YouTube channel, “Monson Made This” in 2017 as a way to give back and help grow the online vegan community that helped make his transition to a vegan lifestyle so much easier. When he’s not developing vegan versions of his favorite childhood (and adulthood) recipes, he’s hanging out with his two rescued pups, Tuff and Odie.
