What to order at Souley Vegan
1. Steak Platter
Everything at Souley Vegan is homemade, including the seitan steaks. These light steaks are breaded in some serious crunch and fried to golden perfection. Chef Dyson’s fave dish, it also comes with greens and creamy mashed potatoes.
2. Buffalo Strips
These seitan strips are prepared in a New Orleans-inspired crispy, crunchy savory batter and come with two dipping sauces. There’s the buffalo, and also a perfect ranch dressing.
3. Deez Aint No Gator Bites
These morels feature handmade Louisiana vegan meat and Cremini mushrooms battered in crunch and spice. For dipping, there’s the out-of-this-world creamy housemade swamp sauce. Don’t ask what’s in it — we tried. Just know it’s damn good.
4. FLOC (For Lover’s of Calamari)
The menu name says it all. If you love(d) calamari, then try the FLOC dish. Hearts of palm are battered and seasoned and come with a lemon wedge to squeeze, along with a creamy dipping sauce. Bonus: it’s gluten-free.
5. Louisiana Hot Link
When it comes to what to order at Souley Vegan, this one is a must.
Our favorite dish we tried is the Louisiana Hot Link. We’re always on the look out for a good link, and this one is fantastic. The housemade link comes smothered with dill coleslaw, diced tomato, garlic aioli, ketchup and mustard and is an explosion of flavors. It also comes with perfectly seasoned, crispy fries.
