One of the questions we get asked most often here at Vegans, Baby is: where is a good restaurant in Las Vegas for a date night (or birthday, or special occasion, or … you get the drift) if you’re vegan?
While there are no shortage of vegan restaurants in Las Vegas, finding a high-end vegan restaurant in Vegas isn’t going to happen. There is Blackout (which we consider high-end because of the price point only), but you’re dining in pitch black.
However, there are plenty of upscale vegan-friendly restaurants in Las Vegas to check out for a date night. Or whatever occassion.
Off-Strip vegan-friendly restaurants in Las Vegas for date night
EDO Gastro Tapas & Wine
You’ll notice a theme in this round-up. Four of the nine restaurants also happen to be the same restaurants and chefs for the first Vegas Vegan Dinner at the famous James Beard House in July 2019.
EDO Gastro Tapas & Wine and Executive Chef Oscar Amador have created an intimate, romantic setting in Chinatown. The vegan tasting menu is $45 per person and features five gorgeous courses. Wwe can’t get enough of the maitake and shimeji mushrooms al ajillo with lemon cauliflower cream, and padron pepper oil. Up the ante and pair it with wine.
Sparrow + Wolf
Another Chinatown hotspot, Sparrow + Wolf’s Executive Chef Brian Howard creates another divine tasting menu for $65 per person.
It features seasonal goodness and is one of the most exquisite tasting menus we’ve had. Round it out with wine pairings, or opt for one (or two) of the restaurant’s signature cocktails.
Yet another Chinatown restaurant (are you noticing a theme yet?), Partage’s French fine dining includes origami ravioli you won’t want to share. In addition, they also serve Instagram-worthy soups and desserts. Executive Chef Yuri Szarzewski and Executive Pastry Chef Vincent Pellerin bring on the charm and romance at this vegan-friendly date night restaurant in Las Vegas.

L’Atelier de Joel Röbuchon
This restaurant is sexy, featuring an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs prepare your gorgeous vegan tasting menu. This coursed dinner from L’Atelier celebrates veggies in ways that will delight. Be sure to give them 24-hours notice to enjoy the tasting menu.
Beauty & Essex
Hip and fun (you enter ironically through a pawn shop at The Cosmopolitan), Beauty & Essex’s vegan program expanded summer 2018 and is impressive.
With eats like herb crusted tempeh and mouthwatering desserts like their chocolate ganache tartlets, this Cosmo restaurant is a winner.
Forget how Instagram-worthy the entrance into CATCH Las Vegas is, it’s the food here that seals the date night deal.
Executive Chef Andrew Carroll has created some dishes that we could eat every. single. day. Try the crispy cauliflower (which a friend of ours says — and we quote — she would “sell her soul for”). And, also order the hearts of palm crab cake and pistachio cheesecake. They will make your heart and belly happy.
The dining room at Mott 32 oozes romance, thanks to the dim lighting and lush, intimate dining rooms.
Veggies rule the scene here, and there are plenty that deliver flavor you’ll devour from dim sum to entrees.
