For all you smoothie newbies (or those simply craving some non-green deliciousness to whip up real quick), Lance McGowan, a natural solutions provider in Las Vegas, has created this sweet dessert using whole foods.
Cake Batter Smoothie Ingredients
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1 teaspoon organic and raw agave
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 scoop tri-omega/sprouted flax
In a high-speed blender, blend the almond milk, banana and ice for 30 seconds. Then, add the vanilla extract, agave, GSG vanilla protein powder and sprouted flax. Blend until smooth.
Make it pretty with some organic sprinkles!
