Project Pollo Las Vegas to open in October 2022
One of the country’s top 15 vegan fast food chains is planting roots in Las Vegas this fall. Project Pollo, a plant-based fast food chicken concept is set to open on W. Sahara in October 2022. The opening marks the first Project Pollo in Las Vegas.
Founded by Lucas Bradley, who was named one of the 28 Young Restaurant Leaders to Watch, the concept has disrupted the fast food scene with its unprecedented growth. In just one year, it opened a whopping 12 locations.
Is there a Project Pollo near me? If you’re in Texas, Boulder, Colo., Tempe, Ariz. or Las Vegas, the answer is yes.
Its crispy, plant-based “chickn” sandwiches have been Project Pollo’s claim to fame.
Obviously, we can’t wait to try their Nashville Hot.
In addition, they serve popcorn chick’n, loaded fries, mac and cheese, milkshakes and more.
You can even get vegan wings in Las Vegas at Project Pollo. They offer three flavors — creamy garlic, raspberry chipotle and spicy garlic buffalo.
The goal of Project Pollo is to challenge industry norms and offer plant-based food that’s affordable, convenient, sustainable and delicious.
Vegan restaurants in Vegas
It marks the second fast food concept to set its sights on Las Vegas. In 2021, Plant Power Fast Food opened in Centennial Hills. Known for its affordable fast food, Plant Power Fast Food is a vegan restaurant in Las Vegas. In addition, it serves both vegan breakfast in Las Vegas, as well as lunch and dinner.
Vegan restaurants in Vegas have taken a hit in 2022.
Unfortunately, numerous vegan restaurants in Vegas have closed, including the beloved POTs, Violette’s Vegan and others. Hopefully, the opening of Project Pollo marks a return of vegan restaurants in Las Vegas.
At the same time, the city has also had a plethora of vegan events kick-off or return. For example, vegan events in Las Vegas include Vegan Dining Month, entering its 6th year in January 2023. Furthermore, there are events like Plant-Based Into … a monthly vegan event, Vegan Wonderland, Vegan Vibez, Vegas VegFest and the debut of Green Adventure Festival Oct. 1 – 2 in Henderson.
